Rabin is the founder of Golden Altar Ministries Turkey and serves God in the work of the Great Commission by reaching the Turkish-speaking world with the Gospel through online ministry, public engagement, and mission trips.
A Life Transformed by the Gospel
Rabin was born and raised in Turkey in an unbelieving family.
At just 10 years old, he came to faith in Jesus Christ at the church in the picture.
At the age of 17, he had fully dedicated his life to the service of the Lord. This decision came at a cost as he began to face persecution and hardship because of his faith.
Yet through these trials, God was shaping and strengthening his calling.
Called to Reach His Own People
At 19, Rabin sensed a clear calling from God:
to bring the Gospel to the people of Turkey and to make disciples who would walk in obedience to Christ.
He began serving in his local church, including as a youth leader, while continuing to grow in his understanding and the knowledge of the Lord.
Education
Rabin pursued academic studies in Ancient Greek and Latin in Istanbul, equipping himself to handle the Scriptures more deeply and faithfully.
In God’s providence, he was later brought to the United States through miraculous provisions, where he completed a four-year Bible seminary education.
This season prepared him both theologically and spiritually for the work ahead.
Ministry in Turkey and Beyond
Rabin and his family eventually returned to Turkey, where he pastored a church for two years.
However, due to circumstances beyond his control, he and his children were forced to leave their home country and return to the United States.
After returning, Rabin served as a youth pastor at his sending church in Kansas City for about two years.
He later helped plant a house church, where he continues to serve as a pastor.
Continuing the Mission in Exile
Although Rabin and his children are currently unable to return to Turkey, the mission has not stopped.
By God’s grace, the ministry continues through online outreach and teaching, reaching thousands of Turkish speakers across the world.
Rabin has converted the basement of his rental home into a studio where he produces teaching content, engages in discussions, and continues the work of the ministry.
Rabin currently lives in Kansas City with his four children as they pray and wait for God to deliver them from unreasonable and wicked persons and laws that prevent them from returning to Turkey for the Gospel (2 Thess. 3:2), they still trust that everything is within God’s greater will and purpose.
“that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all have faith.”
( 2 Thessalonians 3:2)
A Father and a Family
Rabin is not only a missionary and pastor: he is a father of four.
He is raising his children in the Lord while carrying both the responsibility of ministry and the burden of being away from their home country.
As a family, they love taking road trips, climbing mountains, watching The Lord of the Rings, and cheering for their favorite teams: Beşiktaş, Manchester United, and of course the Kansas City Chiefs.
Why Your Support Matters
Rabin is laboring in a mission field where very few are sent and even fewer remain long-term.
Your support does more than fund a ministry, it sustains a family and strengthens a calling.
It allows:
the Gospel to reach people who may never hear it otherwise
biblical teaching to be produced and distributed freely in Turkish
a father to faithfully provide for his children while remaining devoted to ministry
the mission to continue, even in seasons of waiting and hardship
When you partner with Rabin, you are not just supporting a ministry, you are standing with a family on the front lines of the Great Commission.
Rabin’s life is devoted to seeing the Gospel proclaimed among the Turkish-speaking world and to raising up disciples who will follow Christ faithfully.
If you would like to stand with Rabin and his family in this mission, we invite you to prayerfully consider becoming a partner.
Together, we can take part in bringing the light of the Gospel to those who have yet to hear.
